Due to true ADA Design Compliancy, You simply open the door, either sit down or laterally transfer over, slide in and begin bathing. The Universal allows wheelchair, user to make safe, barrier free transfers onto the seat with even moderate upper body strength. No other slide-in bathing product available to residential users allows the door to pass over top of your legs, and permits such safe and easy transfer from wheelchair to bath seat. Now you can have the immeasurable benefits of bathing independently and therapeutically in the comfort of your own home. There is no safer or more comfortable bathing solution available to you regardless of assisted or independent bathing needs. Just as implied in the name, this system is truly “universal”.
Seabridge Bathing’s Universal slide-in bath door closure system is unique to all other manufacturers and bath providers. The door of the Universal rises up effortlessly and then swings away from the bath with ease. The system is spring assisted and can be operated independently or by any care provider. Once you have easily transferred into the Universal slide-in bath, simply bring the door back, lower it in place and begin bathing.
Seabridge provides their own fast fill taps that ensure you get bathing quickly. Once you turn on the warm air massage system, you’ll relax as thousands of warm air bubbles surround and caress you body from 16 self cleaning air jets.
As with all Seabridge brand walk-in baths, slide in baths and walk-in bathing systems with power seats, the Universal bathtub includes Seabridge’s Quick-Drain System as a standard feature. Our exclusive system uses two special drains that permit the Universal slide-in bath to drain much faster than any other product on the residential or commercial markets. For reasons of safety and comfort, Seabridge Bathing never considers the use of a single conventional or mechanical drain system in manufacturing their walk-in and slide-in baths. Bathing has never been safer, or more comfortable.

Showering System - The piping of our walk-in bath, slide in bath shower system is not shared with the filler taps. This is very important in that it because they are separate from each other it will allow the user to fill the bath while operating the shower at the same time.

Universal Door Operation - The door operation design on the Universal slide-in bath is unique, the door has an outward swing but does not require a latch system for the door to be in the closed position. The baths design acts as the seal mechanism and the door cannot opened while the bath has water in it.

Fast Fill Taps – Provided on all Seabridge walk-in baths and slide in baths are our own specific bath taps. Every Universal slide-in bath sold, come complete with these taps to ensure you receive the fastest water delivery. The Universal slide-in bath filler is a full ¾” pillar tap that will allow for filling time that far exceed any most products available.

Easy Lift Universal Door System - The baths design feature acts as the seal on the Universal and the door cannot be opened while the bath is full of water. This protects the client from accidentally disengaging the door. With other outward swinging doors seen in the market on the door can be disengaged with water in the bath
